| About Elkay North
America History is
a treasure. Enduring dedication
and caring for people have been the driving
forces to that have enabled Elkay to stay
in business and continue to prosper in North
America over the past 86 years. In
1920, a manufacturing enterprise called
Elkay came into being in Chicago, Illinois. It
started as a very small business with only
3 employees working in a 195 square meter
rented space. Nevertheless, Elkay
had a long-term vision: to offer superior
sink products worldwide and to build a thriving
business that favors long-term opportunities
over short-term interests.
The original vision of Elkay's
founders - a company focused on quality
and continuous improvement - has made Elkay
a leader in the North American kitchen and
plumbing products market and one of the
most enduring sink manufacturers in the
world. Today, Elkay has over
5,000 employees in more than twenty locations
throughout the world. Relying
on outstanding quality, continuous process
improvement and relentless pursuit of cutting-edge
technologies, Elkay has extended its sales
network and manufacturing base worldwide:
north into Canada, south into Mexico, and
across the Pacific Ocean into China. Elkay
is not only the leading stainless steel
sink manufacturer in North America; Elkay
also produces water coolers, faucets, plumbing
accessories and cabinets, and has become
a leading brand in household products in
the world.
